Welcome to TibArt Audio!
I hope you enjoy your visit through the sounds of the Carolinas that I've recorded over the last few years. All the way back when I was a kid (waaaay back), I was recording everything I could. I believe the first recording I made was of the Wizard of Oz on television holding the microphone on an old tape recorder up to the television. Then came the moon walk where my arm got tired from holding the microphone up to the TV, shushing everyone who came near me, rather obsessively. I have a recording somewhere of my Mom chasing me through the house while we cracked up laughing. There's also the one where my dad picked out a puppy, a very old Star Trek episode and my room-mate and I at college laughing like fools. Somewhere in the house there is a huge plastic box filled with old tapes that I still enjoy listening to.
The digital age has been so exciting. I can now record without the sound of the tape hissing, edit sounds with amazing new software, record underwater - the sky's the limit!
