There's music in the sighing of a reed;
Welcome to TibArt Audio, site dedicated to the sounds of our natural world, particularly North and South Carolina. TibArt Audio is an off-shoot of my original site, TibArt Images. I invite you to browse both sites at your leisure and hope to bring to you some of the peace and healing I find in the natural world. On this site you will hear everything from a Great Horned Owl mother calling for her baby, shrimp snapping to each other deep in a salt-water lagoon to frogs giving territorial cries that sound like laughter. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any comments, suggestions or can provide information or corrections on the sounds presented on this site.
Browse the menu on the left to visit each page. I add new sounds as often as possible.

roaring storm, waving, swirling, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm
like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their
songs never cease.
